Lauren Ash Morgan, actress as well as a board member of SSC since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director of the newly founded theatre company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer composer/music director and text coach. The last year of her tenure she served as director and lighting designer for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been in charge of the production from a group until the end of last year, when she began her first directorial experience.
